Desislava Banova is from Bulgaria. For the last 19 years she has been the weather presenter at NOVA TV. After the FIM 2014 she started communicating on climate change. She also made the weather report for 2050. Desi was invited to attend the UN Climate Summit in sept 2014, in New York, initiated by the UN General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon. She also succeeded to meet the Bulgarian president Rosen Plevneliev to ask about his position on climate change and had the honour to meet Mrs. Irina Bokova – the Director-General of UNESCO. Desislava walked the climate march in New York. She is a real climate change ambassador and helps NOVA TV to talk about this extremely important information about climate related issues.
